Today, I got up at my chosen time and left the house when I needed to. Did everything right. I even made an earlier train from Fordham to Stamford.

But the 11:51 train toward New Haven from Stamford was delayed indefinitely for a mysterious reason that was later revealed to be police activity.

The train finally came at about 12:34. I was at least pleased that they did not ask for tickets, but at the same time pissed at losing a half-hour of wages.

I got to work at 1:30 today.
