This page is a chapter in Book Final Genesis
The ancient autumn leaves gush in a whirlwind, rustling, and the high black boughs retort. Clera shudders in agony, the shrieking silence piercing her skull, a resounding dagger scraping the calcification craving to burst, chiseled grains slicing into the delicate glowing aching cerebral tissue. The crackle of blazing torrents envelops Rich, singeing the arm hairs abruptly and drawing the uric water through the pores to evaporate into the vortex. The cackling laughter spirals; C.J. collapses.

Everyone is screaming – silently, staggering this way and that, eyes glossed, groaning weakly. Yami Niki watches his dear mindless friends, a spell of guilt rushing up through his sinuses from his lumbar. His eyes meet Niki's beside him, who gazes up at him dismally. Niki's eyes shimmer in the darkness.

...

Heavy footsteps traverse the pebble-blanketed concrete through the alley. Pegasus's bodyguard, Kemo, carries a dark heap on his shoulder. Making no sound, struggling to breathe, with Kemo's shoulder blade wedged between the diaphragm and solar plexus, Pegasus's face is crusted thick with blood and membranous cords. His eye open wide, Pegasus is heaved into the dumpster with a rattle.

Two men step out from the shadows. Kemo's words glide to their awaiting ears: "We don't need this man anymore. The cat has returned. Inform the Five."

...

Snickering reaches Yami's ears, and both Nikis simultaneously look to the source. Tongue bristling through clean fur, twitching the tip of the tail, whiskers oscillating, paws flexing, across from them sits Tommy myself, the dark crimson black of the Shadow Realm emanating from behind my deeply closed eyes.

"Tommy, what have you done? Where have you taken us?"
