HoJeong Gets AIM was the theme song to the television pilot of the same name, produced by Ted Phillips and David Collura with Cracked Egg Studios in February 2006. Since then, several versions of the song have been released, popularized after the release of the studio album HOJAID/2007.
History
The second track on HOJAID/2007 was originally intended to be the same as the 2006 TV version, but the band wildly deviated from the lyrics once recording began in the studio.
The band Gorath-Ur and the Riding Yaks performed an extended version of "HoJeong Gets AIM" during HOJAID/LIVE on August 6, 2007.
The TV version was released before the band began working on the studio album. It was available for digital download from the Cracked Egg Studios web site between June 6, 2006 and when the Downloads became defunct in 2008.
