The release of No One to Duel kicked off Cracked Egg Studios' web release of Ni-Ki-Oh! on August 25, 2008.
History
The episode was originally scheduled for an August 17, 2008 release to correspond with the sixth anniversary of the original series. Even though it was completed on time, the release was held for another week (August 24, 2008 at 11:00 PM EST), because the first release in the original version of the series was a blooper reel called Outtakes and the first story-based episode was released on August 24, 2002. Cracked Egg Studios' DEATH-EGG experienced a loss of connectivity in the late morning that was not fixed until the following day, when the episode was finally released.
