People use this card only because it doesn't have a cost to be used. People claim the 700 is a big cost, but since the payment is optional and the card continues to negate magic cards as long as it's on the field, it's only an advantage. There's a reason Magic Jammer has a cost, and this card has none plus a better effect. The banning of this card in Japan was inevitable.
[If banned, this card can be replaced with cards like Magic Jammer, Black Paladin, Magic Drain, and Spell-Shield Type 8.]
